Bill: Alcohol Deregulation Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Malfico Progressive Fascist Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 2134
Description[?]:
The prohibition of alcohol to those under 18 merely enhances the desire to drink. If we allow alcohol to be consumed legally a more mature and sensible attitude to the legitimate use of alcoholic drinks for leisure purposes would be encouraged. Parents and indivduals themselves are better judges of what they wish to do, and as such the government should not engage in the regulation of the trade in intoxicating liquers. |

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context. |
