Message | The Prime Minister: Mr Speaker, the current situation is pointless. Prices can be regulated and yet the government does not help those in need. This change in the law will reintroduce competition to the energy market, allowing energy companies to compete for business. However, those on a low income shall be helped in paying for their bills, which they currently are not, and those over the age of 70 shall receive free energy altogether. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, the current situation is far from pointless - if anything should be pointless, it is this bill. As it stands, there is competition in the market - competition on the back end. A competition to become more efficient in their services, leaner and thriftier with fuel, and better for the environment. A competition for customers and, yes, for profit. There should be no such thing as luxury electricity in Hutori. |

Message | Mr Speaker, we agree that there should be no such thing as luxury electricity, hence our commitment to those on low incomes and those over 70 years old. |
