The following things are deemed by the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Bob Franks to be matters in which local governments are to handle. These decisions are based on the Paleofederalist Policy statements list below:

Provincial Governments shall make laws in the matters of
Section 9 (b): Highways, Railways and public works within the province;
Section 10: Laws that are local in Nature
Section 18: Natural Resources
Section 19: Electrical Energy
