Message | And by us. |

Message | Religion is a strong force for many people, we should recongnize this and incorporate this into our government. We are not forbidding the practice of any religion, we are instead recongizing the historical significance of religion in our history and adapting our governance to build upon its culture and beliefs. |

Message | This is absurd. A state religion?? There should be a wall between church and state, lest the two become inseparably intertwined. |

Message | Hmmm this brings an interesting point up. Now the first question I ask is what would the state religion be, my second question would it be a literal "state" religion or just a national religion, and 3rd if its not compolsory would other religions stil exist or would you either convert or become unrelgious... |

Message | answering first it will be the True Faith, the second we are unsure what what you mean, the third we do not discriminate against non believers or those who choose a different path. So all religions are permitted yet the True Faith is the state sponsored religion. |

Message | We feel that given time others will turn to the True Faith and there is no need to force it upon anyone. Why must religion and government be seperate? They are both driven by the same idea, how to coexist with others, how to best spend your time on earth and how to be a better person. The difference is government forces it upon everyone while a religion (generally) applies to those who choose it. Since the True Faith does not believe in forcing converts it is in effect better then government intervention. By making it the state religion, we recongnize the beleif system at the core of the True Faith and fold it into our governance, thus we can leave some of the work done by the government to the hands of the church. |

Message | Well assuming that this "True Faith" is not a christain based belief, and that you called us a criminal, we are against this bill. |
Date | 18:21:21, November 03, 2005 CET | From | Ministerial Party | To | Debating the Recognition of the One True Faith |
Message | If it were an option we'd expell all organised religion - causes nothing but trouble. |
Date | 19:21:41, November 03, 2005 CET | From | Protectorate Party | To | Debating the Recognition of the One True Faith |
Message | religions give people purpose who need it and helps develop a community as well as provide a code of conduct far better then a government can. |
