| The Cabinet Member of Health and Social Services has deemed the contemporary matter of stem cell research involving the production of embryonic stem cell lines and the harvesting of embryonic stem cells to be an unjust act resulting in the destruction of innocent life. As a result of this realization, the following bill has been drafted. Article One: Research in the production of embryonic stem cells is illegal Article Two: The production of embryonic stem cell lines is illegal Article Three: Violation of Article Two will be facsimile to murder in the first degree Upon the introduction of this bill the Rerum Novarum Party will donate 150,000 DAR to the University of Merenbürg's Biology Faculty for research in Adult Stem Cells, so that the panacea we all dream of, will be more and more available. |
