Basically, if we ever have a major population shift, the penision sstem will fail. In the event that the amount of workers is less than the amount of retired people, the public pension system will go bankrupt. (OOC: see Canada) Also, have another source of revenue for the government only gives it more temptation to reach into the pension pot and take out some money. (OOC: see USA) |
