Message | Neither do we hope that a case of war will ever occur, but in makes no sense, neither from a millitary point of view nor from a humanitarian standpoint to deliver PoWs directly back to the opponent so that they can use them as cannon fodder once more. We'd rather treat them well and keep them from the battlefield. This is one of the cases where common sense and humanitarian considerations are more important than expenditure. |
