Message"Despite the claims of the FIP, this move will certainly harm the middle classes more than anyone. This is an open and frankly disgusting attempt to create a class war."

MessageA hard statement to swallow coming from an elitist, corporate bourgeoisie, non-union, scab-endorsing conglomerate such as the CMP.

Message"Under the CMP, taxes on the poorest in this nation were completely slashed, education spending rose, enterprise was freed, the middle classes were given more control over enterprise, not less and investment in Solentian industry was free. The evidence is before the electorate, the FIP are no longer the party of the working classes and to believe that they are and to use this act as an attempted example would be to live in the past. The FIP are 200 years behind the times, perhaps it's time they caught up."

MessageWe agree with some of what is on this bill, but not all. I and the rest of the UPP have to throw our support against this bill.

Random fact: Parties have the ability to endorse another party's candidate for the Head of State election (if there is one). This adds a strategic element to the elections.

Random quote: "The only way I can lose this election is if I'm caught in bed with either a dead girl or a live boy." - Edwin W. Edwards
