Date | 18:57:47, February 23, 2010 CET | From | Imperial East Terra Company | To | Debating the Act to Withdraw from Monarch Protect Act |
Message | Gaduridosi Republics have all become corrupt eventually. The period under which Gaduridos has been under Company administration has been stable and prosperous - changing the conditions under which so much was achieved will only undermine the future prospects of this country. |

Message | and every monarchy that this nation has had has corrupted as well |
Date | 20:21:14, February 23, 2010 CET | From | Partido Popular de Unidad Nacional | To | Debating the Act to Withdraw from Monarch Protect Act |
Message | Monarchies do not represent the nation, never mind the people. What citizen of Gaduridos and Fotheringhay sits in a Palace all day, waited on hand and foot with endless riches ? A Republic is the only way the people can live democratically. |
Date | 22:20:11, February 23, 2010 CET | From | Royalist Party | To | Debating the Act to Withdraw from Monarch Protect Act |
Message | How does an assembly of the nations wealthiest represent the people? The only difference between a republic and a monarchy is that in Republics the wealthy take turns and give people the freedom of speech so that they'll shut up. Modern constitutional monarchies give the people all the basic rights and freedoms they deserve while maintaining a head of state that belongs to no political party, and who can't be bribed. Republics tend to be full of well to do older men, who are in the pockets of the corporations that funded their campaigns. No form of government is in of itself good or bad, it's the people in charge that make it so. |
Date | 23:05:38, February 23, 2010 CET | From | Partido Popular de Unidad Nacional | To | Debating the Act to Withdraw from Monarch Protect Act |
Message | Monarchies are not elected, simple as that. |
Date | 00:20:21, February 24, 2010 CET | From | Royalist Party | To | Debating the Act to Withdraw from Monarch Protect Act |
Message | That's not the point here, the original argument in support of this was due to claims that one form of government is better than another. This is simply a "My political beliefs are right, yours are wrong" in bill form. |
Date | 15:43:25, February 24, 2010 CET | From | Imperial East Terra Company | To | Debating the Act to Withdraw from Monarch Protect Act |
Message | The Pontesian Monarchy is an incredibly stable institution which has not bowed its head to corruption or the exercisement of excessive powers during its 300 or so years. Gaduridos and Fotheringhay is secure with such a non-political head of state. |
