| The Throne of Immeressen propose to adjust the government's income tax policy to better address the economic situation of the Ascendant Union Of Greater Likatonia. No tax at all below the 500 LIK line, a very modest tax up to the 5000 LIK line, and a reasonable tax up until the topmost level of taxation at 20,000 LIK per annum. Note - on first examination the tax level on the highest earners may seem high, but careful examination shows that it has been balanced against the incomes of a far greater percentage of the population in the middle tier. The poverty stricken get a break, the poor pay a small amount (which they may be able to recover), the working and middle classes pay a fair amount, and the rich are expected to match them. |
