MessageThe government should not intervene ever, by doing so it distorts the market and the economy as a whole. In addition, nationalisation should never occur, never. We oppose this bill.

MessageBut when the livlihoods of thousands of Kanjorans are at stake the government has a very good reason to intervene. The market is distorted by the government lowering and raising taxation, it sill has to do it.

MessageThese thousands of Kanjorans can seek employment in other sectors. In addition history has shown that when the government offers no last resort security, less comapnies go under.

MessagePerhaps, but vital industries must be offered some form of protection. If an industry that is vital to national security veers near collapse because of corrupt practices by the ownership, the government must intervene, it cannot allow the nations security to be place under threat, simply in order to obey the invisible hand.

MessageIf an industry can go under it cannot be vital, the market does not allow vital industries to go under. The problem tends to be that everybody considers their industry to be vital.

MessageOf course a vital industry can go under. Corrupt practices can lead to a perfectly good and viable company enduring severe losses. Shock events, such as a dramatic increase in oil prices can lead to companies falling overnight, the government must operate sme form of backup for the worst case scenarios.

Messageno, the government should not play any role in business. This undermines the competative principles of capitalism.

MessageWell our party believes that this would be good for the national economy. I do realize this does destroy the essential aspects of capitalism, but it would help out those employed, and those who buy the services. As long as the services or production is handled effeciently by the government, I think that this system would help this country,
