| Message | Horrible reasoning. Local governments are extremely inefficient, ill-equipped, and disorganized, compared to a strong central authority. Not only that, but without a proper oversight crooked local politicians could exploit these families for their own political gain. Why not just throw these families out onto the streets? What you are proposing would be akin to such an act. Let it be known to the citizens of this great nation that the AF cares about these families and their wellbeing, whether it be shelters, or housing projects, and is not willing to play politics with their lives. |

| Message | We doubt that local politicians are any more or lesscrooked than national politicians, our problem with such a proposal is not whether local or central government provides public housing, but that this proposal say that local governments determine housing policy, which can also mean that they decide not to provide any public housing at all. |

| Message | We see the logic in the People's Party's argument, but we stand by our proposal. As for the Aldegarian Front's response, local governments will always be inefficient, ill-equipped and disorganised as long as the central government still wishes to concentrate as much power in its own hands. The only way to make local governments better is through decentralisation. And if the member wonders why we want to make local governments better, the answer is because local governments are much, much more accountable to the constituents than the central government. Furthermore, central governments more often than not ignores local cultural, social and economic differences in creating laws. Local governments can and usually do pay more attention to these variations and are thus better placed to deliver. |

| Message | I support the sentiment, and also agree with the PP that the wording is a bit troublesome. We have to believe that our brethren at the local level will implement this the right way. We should keep an eye on the implementation and step in if necessary. |
