Description[?]:
Welcome to Luthori! Luthori is a very special country in the world of particracy and is very unique. It is probably one of the countries whose history, culture and traditions have been the most developed. It is and has always been a traditionalist Christian monarchy with a system of titles and honors, largely based on the real world British Empire at the height of its power in the second part of the XIXth century. Its other important influences include the Holy Roman Empire and the reformation, with Luthori's official state religion (the Church of Luthori) being a mixture of Anglicanism (the real world Church of England) and Lutheranism. We strongly recommend that you take a look at the Luthori wiki page for more information: http://particracy.wikia.com/wiki/Luthori While you are more than welcome to play here and contribute to this country, we, the people who put a lot of time and effort over the years making Luthori what it now is, ask that you please respect its historical context and unique nature and not try to turn it into a liberal democracy or a fascist dictatorship, which are, don’t worry, both quite common in particracy. Here is also a list of Luthori's legal archives which is regularly modified to reflect the current law: http://particracy.wikia.com/wiki/Luthori_Legal_Archives Lastly, the official and agreed upon culture of Luthori is explained here: http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=301602 DO NOTE: That as per the Treason Act, it is treason to propose the abolition of the monarchy. http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=320861 |

Message | Thank you for you welcome. Regarding the Treason Act (no date) no party members of the Utilitarian Progress party would dream of breaking the law. However we assume there is no law that prevents a piece of legislation that abolishes another? Of course our lawyers have a lot to do to understand the legal system here and people able to properly circumnavigate I mean adopt it. |

Message | Thank you for this. "That as per the Treason Act, it is treason to propose the abolition of the monarchy." can we repeal the Treason Act? I'm sure many parties would vote for that (do to most of the upper house being socialists and democrats) |
