Bill: "The Public Works Act"

Details

Submitted by[?]: Medrisite-Associated Revisionist Council

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 2903

Description[?]:

"...We, the faithful, believe that the Empire's current public works system is inefficient. It calls for direct government funding, and is often of the lowest quality, as the government will automatically go for the lowest quality equipment and supplies to save money. We believe, that by enabling private contractors to compete for the program, we will get the best quality equipment and supplies for the lowest price.

Random fact: It is possible for a player to transfer ownership of a character or a royal house to another player. This should be done in a public way, such as on the Character Transfers thread, so that if a dispute arises in the future, Moderation can be pointed towards evidence of the transfer.

Random quote: "The decadent international but individualistic capitalism in the hands of which we found ourselves after the war is not a success. It is not intelligent. It is not beautiful. It is not just. It is not virtuous. And it doesn't deliver the goods." - John Maynard Keynes
