Bill: Emergency Interim Cabinet Proposal November 2903

Details

Submitted by[?]: Throne of Immeressen

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 2904

Description[?]:

After three failed attempts to pass proportional representation cabinets, and to move the cabinet appointment debate forwards - the Throne of Immeressen is tabling a new cabinet option.

It IS still somewhat proportional, sharing seats roughly according to seats won in the last election cycle - but it only includes parties that have guaranteed support. Which mean: Throne of Immeressen and the Coalition.

We ARE willing to listen to new cabinet proposals in the future - this measure has been forced by repeated failure to pass cabinet bills.

MessageOOC: to CDP - in the last cabinet bill we said that we were going to recall, if the UW didn't vote in time, and only the ICotW actually responded saying they'd vote. There are only two parties in this bill, because we were pretty certain we could manage to get two parties to coordinate on actually getting the thing voted through - the fourth time. It's not about leaving parties out - it's about including guaranteed votes.
