Message | "We see no reason" is never a good enough reason to undo ANYTHING. Since Likatonia imposed salary caps, income equity in Likatonia has stabilised. We have one of the highest standards of living anywhere, and - at the same time - one of the lowest costs of living. Our immigration is a net positive - people WANT to come here. And when they are here, the make money, and pour it into our economy. They start businesses, and pour even more into our economy. The idea is not 'contrary to capitalism' unless you find the whole idea of a strong, options-based economy to be 'contrary to capitalism'. |

Message | Wont people from abroad want to come here to make more money ? If theres a salary cap, why would, businessmen, for example, want to come and work here if they can't make as much money as elsewhere ? It makes no sense. |

Message | Except that our immigration is a net positve - which rather suggests that people ARE coming here, whether we think it makes sense or not. Apparently, Likatonia is not a nation greatly motivated by greed. Likatonians are happy to contribute to the nation as a whole, are happy to be comfortable, and don't seem to NEED the excess that other nations might feel they have to have. From the point of view of this party - that's not actually a bad thing. |
