Message | Mr Speaker, such a bill will simply increase poaching and illegal hunting. That is far more dangerous than a free market system that, for the love of money, necessitates that the environment must be preserved. If the 'stock' is squandered, then the money supply runs out. There is therefore a vested interest in ensuring that hunting practices are manageable and efficient. Furthermore, whaling is an ancient custom of the Mashacara and making it illegal will simply be seen as an attack on their rights and customs. |
