MessageMr Speaker, the CLP's point in the description, we find rather funny. The only reason it did not thrive under the current government is because of the current governments incompetance. If they were able to run the program properly then they would not want to pawn it off to private companies.

MessageMr Speaker, it is not out of government incompetence. Government and industry are not designed to co-exist. Without free competition business and industry ultimately decline, become inefficient, bureaucratic and top-heavy. That is the nature of monopoly, especially when it is a government monopoly. Mr Speaker, given that the Ministry of Science and Technology has been in the hands of the URR, who are committed to a public space sector, it can hardly be claimed that it is lack of enthusiasm that has caused the decline.
