Message | Mr Speaker, while we know this Act is more likely to fail than pass it is more of a statement. The fact that we remain committed to democracy unlike some of the other parties. There is no place for a unelected Head of State in a civilised society anymore. We want to return basic democracy to the people of this nation! |

Message | Mr Speaker, it is interesting that the HNP believe a monarchy is not part of a civilised society, but they can find a place in that civilised society for torture, the death penalty and banning homosexuals from the military. Very interesting indeed. |
