Bill: Renaming of Regions and Cities Act.2907
Details
Submitted by[?]: Raijingusan (旭日)
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 2908
Description[?]:
We, the Imperial Commonwealth Party, feel that the current names of regions and cities do not represent our culture. Our nation is diverse and multicultural, many citizens speak English, but there are also those that speak Franch, Gao-Showan (Japanese) and Kazulian (Norwegian) (http://particracy.wikia.com/wiki/Sekowo), therefore we propose the following: Regions: Hasowar becomes Bloem Bay Bizena becomes Northern Territory Undarro becomes Lumière du Sud Hikhala becomes Kingsland Lorrod becomes Southern Territory Cities: Isvengørd becomes Vandeburg Mt. Carmel becomes Tranquille Bay Sybarillis becomes Centralborough Vèrcâté becomes Newhampton Ibaraki becomes L'espoir Kasmenai Federal Metropolis becomes Oranjestad Se'tle becomes Settle Sno'quam becomes Takohima Ödengard becomes Størbyen Flamberge becomes Ikaziko Nørsengard becomes Nørdiskgard Terina becomes Triomphe Argolia becomes Whistler Arkadium becomes New Town Hyperion becomes Grandminster Pelias becomes Victoire Kuzacotl becomes Ville du Soleil Orestes becomes Kingsley Saint Hélyi becomes Saint Sekowo Seritei becomes Portuaire du sud Note: These are random but make more sense than the ones this nation has currently. The English majority, and French, Gao-Showan (Japanese) and Kazulian (Nordic) are all represented through names from their language |
