Bill: Sanctity of Life Act of 2907

Details

Submitted by[?]: Genuine Progress Alliance

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 2908

Description[?]:

This act aims to make abortions illegal EXCEPT when the life of the mother is at risk.

In abortion, two lives are at risk: the mother and the child in the womb. However, the child could not choose to have his/her life taken away for a reason that is solely for the interest of other people.

When we abort, we take away a life. And many of the reasons behind it is because they do not wish to take responsibility for the child or that the act of intercourse was only for play and not for conception, which is a show of disrespect for the act of intercourse.

By making abortions free for everyone, we are allowing our country to have premarital sex becoming more common due to the loss of fear of consequence. They can have intercourse all they want and just abort the "mistake" later.

On this new law, unwilling mothers are given the opportunity to deliver the child and have it adopted to other families, particularly those who are unable of conception.

Let us respect human life in our nation.

Random fact: Cabinet ministers who disagree seriously with the head of government would usually be expected to resign. Parties within the cabinet may attempt to manoeuvre to replace the head of government though, for example by proposing a new cabinet bill or voting for an early election.
