Bill: Research and Development of Pharmacautical Act.
Details
Submitted by[?]: Liberal-Progressive Union
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 2136
Description[?]:
This bill eases the burden for government social services. As there is already a subsidy in place for prescription drugs, we feel that regulating the price serves no good since it is already done by the government. This allows research into drugs, but stops the price regulation which is law in another bill. |

Message | The regulation of prices guarantees that drugs are not sold at prices that make them impossible for people to afford. People would be forced to choose whether to pay for a possibly life saving drug or to choose feeding their families. This may be an extreme example, but not impossible to imagine. We vote no. |
