MessageWhy, this proposal makes no sense, there is no need for early elections.

This is a power-grab by the LDP and we urge the ASRF to understand this.

MessageLet the people decide whether they want a coalition government or not, despite the ICP's refusal to foster democracy in our National Assembly.

MessageNo. It is plain and simple that your party's intention is to dominate Sekowo's political scene. What more do you want ? You have a majority of seats and the President is of your party!

MessageIn addition, this nation needs consistancy, it needs a government that serves a complete term in office, and, of course, we also need to wait for the Provinces and Cities to be renamed.

MessageIt is sad that the NCP seems to think the complete renaming of cities is more important than preserving the civil and democratic rights of Sekowans. It is no surprise that they are against the people exercising their democratic rights, considering their sudden 180-degree turn in policies since the last election.

MessageIt is part of the nation's constitution that elections are held every three years. LDP, why the sudden turn against our party, and why suddenly want early elections now ?

MessageIt is also part of the nation's constitution that early elections can be held on advice of the National Assembly. We have turned against your party because you are no longer the party we have once pledged to work with. The old Social Democratic Party has values, and we admired that. Many voters certainly admired that too. Unfortunately, your party has turned its back on its principles in order to grab power.

Your fascist government won't be able to hide from the people forever. Sekowans will have their say!

MessageHow have we shown that we wish to grab power, we want nothing of the sort! It is one of our party's interests that this nation is a multi-party state.

Now, I think that even the Aryan party would agree that with you holding 230 seats already, you have recognised that you only need 21 more seats in order to pass legislation without any influence of the other parties, so LDP, it is your party that wants to grab power, that is obvious.

Sekowo does not need elections right now, we had elections less than a year ago and there are still two more years of the term left so allow things to be. Should the political situation change then maybe early elections will be the best thing but there is no reason to have them now.

With your consistant claims that even our party is fascist it makes it all the more obvious that you want more power.

MessageOur party can only gain a majority with the support of the people. It is not up to us to decide that.

The political situation has changed much since the last election. The NCP has abandoned its social democratic platform, and subscribed to core beliefs shared with fascist parties. It is not the same party that the people has voted in, and letting the people decide again in light of these new revelations is not only right but also a moral obligation.

The NCP has shown it is afraid that the people will vote them out of power. Perhaps that is the case, or perhaps it is not. Regardless, we will not know for certain, because the NCP's power-hunger has prevented it from asking the people in a desperate attempt to cling to power.

Your party once stated the necessity of preventing extremism from taking over our government and our country. We hope the NCP will see the light of day again and do what is right.

MessageYour party has not given any good reason to vote in favour of early elections, therefore it has left the two remaining parties with the impression that your party wants full control.

We aren't scared that we'll lose seats, that isn't our reason that we have voted no, we have voted no because there is no reason for elections right now, we had them less than a year ago, there is now a government, there are bills being voted upon and no parties have collapsed.

And, LDP, as much as you would like to you cannot interfere in our party's affairs. It is up to our members to decide upon our party's name, ideology, and how we vote.

MessageWe know we cannot. That is the job of the voter. Of course, when we seek to allow them to do their job, we are opposed by the NCP.

The government created certainly is not the one the people voted in last March. If you think we're wrong, prove it! Call an election!

MessageNone of the parties got over 50% of the vote.

What are you going to do, call early elections whenever you feel like it and then as your reason say that it is the peoples' job ?

Give us a reason, explain, why did you suddenly want early elections after your party wasn't included in a coalition government ?

MessageOur job is to ensure the people get what they voted for. This is certainly not what they've voted for. Even your party must admit this was not in your plans when the last election was held.

Once again, we challenge you to hold elections and let the people decide! If no party obtains a majority, we will agree to your party's ORIGINAL terms for a coalition government, as both of our parties promised to the people. Certainly you'd have no problem with that, since the people would not give our party a majority, right?

FromRaijingusan (旭日)
ToDebating the Call for early elections, January 2908
MessageWe are concerned that your party wouldn't participate in a coalition government anyway, even if you did get over 50%.

If our party gained over 50%, as a party supporting a state with multi-parties and democracy, we would still offer parties seats.

We're not convinced, early elections are not what this nation needs currently, parties should not be tempted by greed.

MessageOnce again, your claim is just a claim until it is backed up with actions. We would offer the opposition seats as well...you can choose to believe or reject that claim, but you can see my point.

We are also glad that you realize parties should not be tempted by greed. Once more, back up your words with substance. Don't say one thing and do something completely different.

Random fact: It is possible for a player to transfer ownership of a character or a royal house to another player. This should be done in a public way, such as on the Character Transfers thread, so that if a dispute arises in the future, Moderation can be pointed towards evidence of the transfer.
