Old value:: All adults not supported by another person shall be guaranteed a very basic subsistence income by the government. However, the provision of this is not to exceed a certian period of time.
Current: There shall be no direct cash payments to individuals to guarantee a minimum income.

Message | Minimum Income is an absolute requirement as the market is unable to take into account the lag transistory periods. A basic income during such a transistory period of time (either between jobs and employment or the training/learning period needed for specialising in another field) will thus ensure that those not currently employed will be able to support themselves during the lag phase, thereby increasing employment mobility too and making the economy more allocatively efficient. Rushed employment will not do efficiency any good. |
