MessageAnd peoples party, I can see that common sense and yourself are two very distant things. If a convicted "killer" is freed from prison, convicted killer meaning someone who was a CRIMINAL. Maybe you just don't know what that means, so let me help you. A criminal is someone who has BROKEN THE LAW. If that criminal, upon being released from prison, wants to commit another crime, (crime meaning something that is AGAINST THE LAW), I know this is hard for you understand, but just bear with me. So if he wants to commit another crime, this means he is not concerned about THE LAW. And guess what?! Guns laws are part of THE LAW. Meaning if he wants to commit a crime with a gun, he is not going to hesitate to brake the guns laws as well, meaning he will HAVE A GUN ANYWAYS. If you don't think guns are readily available to purchased illegaly, then you need more help than I thought. However, if he does not plan on braking the law any further, then why SHOUDN'T be able to buy a gun.
