MessageAgree. Modern armies require professionals, while there is no need to waste money and people's time on training necessary to keep up the framework of an old fashioned mass army.

MessageTherefor there is in times of war. An engineer who works at the university or in different companies can be very usefull for the army in times of war. There are many jobs that can be very usefull so we should be able to let them serve during war.

MessageTechnologies of modern warfare require highly specialized manpower. Let's make it a respected and well-payed career for professionals. Wake up, the age of mass armies is simply over. The ministry of defence should concentrate their efforts on maintaining the standars of the professional army instead.

Random fact: Characters are considered to be "owned" by the player who first mentioned or created them. In practice, players may share responsibility for role-playing a character, but ultimate authority rests with the owner.
