Message | I think the SA makes a really valid point. I think all of us got used to the system wherein a Prime Minister or any other official separate from the President chairs the Cabinet, thus making political "coups" possible. In the current system, the President (who is currently under the UAP) is also officially part of the Cabinet as its Head of Government, and so any vote for a cabinet proposal will always require for the vote of the party that chairs the Cabinet, in this case the UAP, and it wouldn't matter if no other position was offered to the UAP since the UAP still heads the Cabinet. |

Message | i see so in order for this to work either the UAp cant be president or we need seperate HoG |

Message | Or we could have an early election, which would most likely elect someone from another party to the Presidency. I have to say that I'm a bit hesitant to separate the HoS and the HoG because I think this system is more practical in real-life. |
Date | 18:33:34, March 20, 2010 CET | From | Communist Party of Aloria | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of December 2910 |
Message | Let's separate it, until recently, thats how Aloria has always been. |
Date | 19:48:17, March 20, 2010 CET | From | New Aloria Party (NAP) | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of December 2910 |
Message | The people's party supports seprating the HOS and HOG |
