Description[?]:
In order to further our goals of reforming the Armed Forces of the Commonwealth (AFC), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been in contact with the Luthori Ministry of Defense to make arrangements for the purchase of needed ships and aircraft under the Census of the Armed Forces of the Commonwealth and Fixation of Numbers Act (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=283025). Here is what we have found: Needed Materiel: Aircraft: * 40 long-range bombers * 45 tactical bombers * 1,300 fighters * 1,175 naval aircraft Vessels: * 3 aircraft carriers * 18 submarines * 22 missile cruisers * 14 destroyers * 22 support vessels These are the aircraft and vessels from which we can choose: 1) Aircraft IFC-22 Strike Hawk - £ 22.5 million - The IFC-22 Strike Hawk is a 5.5th generation air superiority fighter. It is equipped with advanced stealth systems, can reach speeds up to mach 3.1 and is highly maneuverable. IFC-35 Falcon - £ 12 million - The IFC-35 Falcon is a 5.5th generation multirole stealth fighter-bomber. It is capable of air to air combat but can also be used effectively as a tactical bomber. It comes in CTOL, STOL and VTOL formats and can be launched from aircraft carriers (especially, the Sovereign II). ISB-3 Pacifier - £ 72 million - The Pacifier is a long range, strategic stealth bomber that is capable of delivering great destruction at ultra high altitude. ITSB-12 Paladin - £ 31 million - The Paladin is a medium range, tactical stealth bomber. It is designed to hit more specific targets than the Pacifier and at closer ranges. 2) Ships Sovereign II Class Aircraft Carrier - £ 475 million - The Sovereign II class aircraft carrier is a nuclear powered supercarrier with effective infinite range. It is capable of carrying up to 70 fighters in addition to helicopters. Sandulka Class Cruiser - £ 240 million - The Sandulka Class Cruiser is an advanced missile cruiser. It possesses formidable armor and firepower, being armed with a variety of main guns, close surface combat weapons and short, medium and long range missiles. It is an escort ship designed to destroy enemy surface ships. Williamsborough Class Destroyer - £ 113 million - The Williamsborough Class Destroyer is a support ship, primarily tasked with anti-air and anti-submarine warfare. It is a vital element of any fleet and can easily defeat enemy destroyers, although is it vulnerable to cruisers. William III Class Attack Submarine - £ 175 million - The William III Class Attack Submarine is an anti-ship vessel whose main task is to achieve underwater supremacy, sink enemy surface ships and prevent enemy ballistic missile cruisers from operating. As such, the BNR proposes the following purchases. No increase in taxes will be needed whatsoever: we have a surplus of more than $1.5 trillion ($1,500,000,000,000) BEI (http://classic.particracy.net/budget.php?nationid=51), and the total cost of our purchases is about £59 billion (£59,000,000,000). This is equal to approximately $363 billion ($363,000,000,000 BEI). This cost does need to be added to the defense budget in the form of upkeep costs, but is still within the surplus by many hundreds of billions. Aircraft: * 40 ISB-3 Pacifier long-range bombers; cost: £2.88 billion (£2,880,000,000) * 45 ITSB-12 Paladin tactical bombers; cost: £1.395 billion (£1,395,000,000) * 1,300 IFC-22 Strike Hawk fighters; 900 for air force, 400 for navy; cost: £29.25 billion (£29,250,000,000) * 1,175 IFC-35 Falcon fighter-bombers; 775 for navy, 400 for air force; cost: £14.1 billion (£14,100,000,000) Total Aircraft Costs: £47.625 billion (£47,625,000,000) Vessels: * 3 Sovereign II-class aircraft carriers; cost: £1.425 billion (£1,425,000,000) * 22 Sandulka-class missile cruisers; cost: £5.28 billion (£5,280,000,000) * 14 Williamsborough-class destroyers; cost: £1.582 billion (£1,582,000,000) * 18 William III-class attack submarines; cost: £3.15 billion (£3,150,000,000) * The 22 support vessels will be built in Yishelem and Beiteynu by our shipyards; cost: £850 million (£0.85 billion; £850,000,000) Total Vessel Costs: £12.287 billion (£12,287,000,000) Total Aircraft and Vessel Costs: £59.912 billion (£59,912,000,000), or $363 billion BEI ($363,000,000,000 BEI) |

Random fact: It usually takes up to an hour for election results to generate. During this time, the "Next Election" date is put forward a month, which is confusing. Do not worry! In a short time, the election result will generate and the "Next Election" date will then correct itself. |
