| We of the Paranational League propose an immediate vote on this Emergency Legislation. In our appeal we will avoid using legislative language to exspress its urgency. By approving the following the Partilment Immediatley orders Imperial Agents to enforce constant patrols whether or not their area of enforcement be in private property. "... In Stormridge the other day, 15 noble True Patriots gave their lives to Allah. Over 50 killed by the bombings. Their names are can be found in Kidrun county Capitol building. In retaliation, riots broke out in Islamic/Hobrazian towns in districts all over the Imperium. We think 30 more True Patriots died and 25 more Hobrazians. In other news..." apart from language of the act itself, to any skeptics we make the following appeal: It has been argued that the enacment of any emergency act ( The PL Patriot Act etc) involves some infingment on individual liberties. But other than additional police patrols, in what ways could this Bill violate anyones rights. I believe the above excerpt, written by the Patriot Party themselves, illustrates the gravity of the current situation The Jihadis are already mobilizing, and assaulting our citizens; clearly our police patrols will be ineffective in responding to these riots if one were to occur on private property. Worse yet should our agents be aware of a Jihadist plot on a private building they would have no way to scope the area before their operations. Or to defuse a bomb planted by the Patriot Party. Note- If any other attacks occur in Hobrazia's provinces the Partilment should be encouraged to pass additional sanctions in the form of other likeminded legislation |
