Bill: Subsidise Public Transport Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Democratic Centrist Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 2913

Description[?]:

Public transport is not only more environmentally friendly, but also a good way to reduce traffic congestion. To make the usage of PT more attractive for commuters, the price cannot be to high. Therefore, we suggest that the gov't should partially subsidise it to a certain point, to allow for ticket price cuts.

Random fact: Parties have the ability to endorse another party's candidate for the Head of State election (if there is one). This adds a strategic element to the elections.

Random quote: "I have a dream that one day, down in Alabama, with its vicious racists, with its governor having his lips dripping with the words of interposition and nullification; one day right there in Alabama, little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers." - Martin Luther King Jr.
