MessageMr. Speaker,

The Federal-Republicans can not vote in favor of this proposal despite our resounding support for Article 2. The issue of the federal government owning an internet service provider is one we simply can not abide. Many of us were surprised to see the distinguished members of the Liberal Party not only propose but support government expansion in the private markets. Recently proposed legislation from our colleagues has reflected a desire to see a decentralization government not one that takes on the additional tasks of maintaining an ISP.

We yield the floor,

MessageMr. Speaker,

While my honurable colleague in the Federal Republican Party is correct that the Liberal Party dose support decentralization of government he is wrong to state that article 1 is purely a, and I quote "government expansion in the private markets." The Liberal Party bielieves that article 1 will benefit and help attract Private bussiness in Zardugal, we say this because In todays world The information super highway is just as important a piece of infrastructure to a countrys economy as a regular highway. It can be said then if the Government can provide Highways made of concrete why can they not provide Highways made of Fiber Optic Cables.

We yield the floor

MessageMr. Speaker,

While our commendable colleagues present an argument we can't help but find the flaw in it. This government does not actively maintain our highway system. Recently the law was changed to devolve policies about highway maintenance to local governments which we do not support. In decades past our national highway policy was left to private firms which worked in conjunction with the Ministry of Trade and Industry. The Federal-Republicans support a free-market and a government which has little to nothing to do with it. This model worked our brilliantly and our infrastructure is well above the normal for central Majatran nations; something we can all be proud of.

So for our colleagues to argue that we need a national project to go along with ISP's and the highway, the argument is fundamentally flawed as it is. If the Liberal Party is committed to the downsizing of the government as has been said then surely the current law with a resolution that could be debated permitting certain private ISP's to be awarded government contracts would seem the ideal approach to the Article in question and leaves the federal government out of the business of being an internet services provider but, also allows the government and Ministry of Trade and Industry as well as other Ministries to work hand in hand with any number Zardic companies to craft more reasonable government policies and initiatives.

We yield the floor,
F.R.P. Senior Director of Belgae,
Basil Tomlin

MessageMr. Speaker,

My Honurable colleague dose indeed present an excellent arguement in favour of scrapping section 1 of this bill, they have also put forward a comprimise solution, proving yet again that they are not simply a partisan party of oppisition but a fully rounded party of comprimise and progress in government. However the Liberal party truly bielieves that article 1 is the correct course of action for this country, and so we shall continue to support it and we call on all other parties to do the same.

We Yield the floor.
