Bill: Dienstplicht / Military Service

Details

Submitted by[?]: Anti-Revolutionaire Volkspartij

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 2918

Description[?]:

Through this proposal, the government can, in times of emergency, call upon the people to help with disasters or emergencies, to defend the homeland. That's a good thing. The danger of
a purely professional army is, that the armed forces can get in a social isolation. Maintaining the military service can help that every person involved keeps involved with maintaining the defense of peace
and freedom of the people and the homeland.
