PREAMBLE: In the interest of maintaining good fiscal status and financial stability within Sekowo, this act seeks to formally establish the Bank of Sekowo as the national bank of the Federal Commonwealth and the Sekowan Yen as the national currency.

ARTICLE I: BANK OF SEKOWO

1. The Bank of Sekowo shall be the national bank of the Federal Commonwealth, and shall be charged with the task of maintaining financial stability.
2. The Bank of Sekowo shall be responsible for all mintage operations in Sekowo, the establishment and implementation of monetary policies in Sekowo, and the regulation of other Sekowan banks.
3. The Bank of Sekowo shall be the primary holder of assets belonging to the federal government, and shall be the primary lender to the federal government.
4. Appointments to the Bank of Sekowo shall be made by the President of the Federal Commonwealth, with the consent of the Premier of the Federal Commonwealth, the Minister of Finance and the Federal Senate. Until the Federal Senate is established, the Federal Assembly shall be delegated the duty of confirming appointments made to the Bank of Sekowo.

ARTICLE II: SEKOWAN YEN

1. The national currency for all of Sekowo shall be the Sekowan Yen (SEK).
1.1. The Sekowan Yen (which shall hereon forth be referred to as the "yen") shall be considered the base unit of currency. The Sekowan Cent (which shall heron forth be referred to as the "cent") shall be considered 1/100 of a yen.
2. The Bank of Sekowo shall be the sole legitimate minter of the Sekowan Yen.
3. Denominations of the Sekowan Yen shall include: 100 yen, 50 yen, 20 yen, 10 yen, 5 yen, 1 yen, 25 cent, 10 cent, 5 cent, and 1 cent.
