MessageFrom experience, this does not work.
Maladjusted pupils usually have trouble at home, and excluding / expelling them is the worst thing to do.
We need school counsellors, small classes with assistants who can individually look after troubled pupils, and physical compulsion where necessary.
A wide range of options for complex situations.
