Message | 1) Labour believes advertising should be regulated in a way that advertisements that are heavily misleading without giving factually false information could be banned and suited. Furthermore there should be no advertisments of products that are seriously hazardous to health. We believe neither the current laws in effect against the prohibition of giving false information, nor the ones considering the protection of children against obscenity cover the whole area of affairs concerning advertising that severly hurt consumer rights or the principle of equal competition. 2) consumers should always be fully informed about the products the are offered. It is a very obvious requiremment that producers should label all ingredients of the given product in order to ensure the freedom of choice for the consumer. 3) Private postal services should be heavily regulated and continously monitored in order to enforce already existing laws of privacy and personal data security and to ensure the safety of service. Please comment. |
