Message | A contraceptive is not an abortion pill. Just to name to popular classics: condom and the pill. In the first case a physical barrier is placed between the sperm and the cells. In the second case the woman's ovulation cycle is altered and, it only affects non fertilized eggs. One different thing is what has been nicknamed the "day after pill" whici stops the development of a fertilized egg before the citosis and which some people deem abortive, an opinion who other dont share. Here we are talking about traditional contraceptives. You can oppose them for religious or moral reasons, but they are not contraceptives. They are, in fact, a perfect method to avoid abortions. Thus unwanted pregnancies are avoided and therefore abortions. |

Message | I also don't think that anybody should be able to go around getting these. So a 13 year old girl and boy could go to a public restroom in a library and get condoms and have sex. Wow, so great. Without the parents even knowing. ~Hope~ |

Message | So you would rather the teenage couple have unprotected sex? Under your scheme, teenage pregnancies would go through the roof, as would the resulting adverse societal effects. |

Message | We voted yes not because we support CHP's view, the government should not intervene to contraceptive market. |

Message | Wow, real mature. Would you rather have babies popping out of nowhere more than what already happen? This isn't encouraging sex, its just for making it safer. Get your head out of the box that you're in, its nicer outside. |
