Message | If just the Communists, Libertarians and Populaists vote yes, this will pass by ONE vote. Ive given the LPD the best ministries, and the Populists a lot too, as they had none. I gave myself some ministries because it is those ministries that are in desperate need of finanical reform. |

Message | We would hope that the LP would choose to not side with the communists. The current coalition government in place not only effectively represents the will of the people, but within it holds their best interests. This government is what is best for the people of Darnussia, not a commie populist leftist blend. |

Message | Once the education and science ministries have been reformed, the Communists would happily leave governement in favour of a complete Libertarian and Populist government. We feel that moderates are incompetent at educational and cultural economic reform. |
Date | 21:52:15, April 15, 2010 CET | From | Rerum Novarum Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of December 2923 |
Message | We invite the members of the Communist Party to stuff it. It comes down to whether or not the Libertarian party is willing to give up his ideology for a marriage of convenience. |
Date | 21:53:41, April 15, 2010 CET | From | Communist Party of Darnussia | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of December 2923 |
Message | We ask the Rerum Novarum Party to remain civil during debates. |

Message | Why should he remain civil? We are leaning towards voting against this because instead of having Libertarianism implemented everywhere except education, science, and agriculture, we would want it implemented everywhere. And there are alot more positions where our views would be in line with right wing parties. And if these are the only places the right-wing parties are able to minister, we can have a truely free country. |

Message | We are still undecided though as of yet...... |
Date | 22:16:00, April 15, 2010 CET | From | Libertarian Party of Darnussia | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of December 2923 |
Message | We definitely don't like the right-wing parties implmenting all of their nanny state crap..................... |
Date | 22:19:28, April 15, 2010 CET | From | Communist Party of Darnussia | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of December 2923 |
Message | Again, the Communist's would be happy to give up their cabinet positions once we have reformed these areas. And the modern Communist Party is a surprisingly liberal one compared to the ones of previous years. We would not do anything without your consent, but we will not follow orders from you. We are hoping to see a compromise in your favour. A coalition with the right will give you a lot less power than this coalition with the left, and the left would be willing to work with you more. |
Date | 00:33:06, April 16, 2010 CET | From | Libertarian Party of Darnussia | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of December 2923 |
Message | The problem is, you want to ban private education. There is no way we can support this. If we were to create a cabinet with a rightwing party in charge of education, I can't think anything they would do that would oppose liberty. |
Date | 00:37:45, April 16, 2010 CET | From | Rerum Novarum Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of December 2923 |
Message | Don't forget the lefty who would be in charge of finance. |
Date | 01:59:34, April 16, 2010 CET | From | Communist Party of Darnussia | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of December 2923 |
Message | The reason I am wanting those positions in the cabinet is because I want to increase funding in those areas, as it is needed badly, yet all the other parties seem to refuse to do this. I feel I am the only one capable of this. It is for the better of the people. And yes, ultimately, my party DOES want a complete ban on private education. But not at the moment. There is no way I would jepordise my relationship with the largest party by putting forward a coalition that I really hope he would accept, and at the same time trying to put through extreme legislation using my position that i offered to him I take that he is opposed to. |
Date | 03:02:24, April 16, 2010 CET | From | Rerum Novarum Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of December 2923 |
Message | So it comes down to it. Are you willing to sacrifice private education in the long run for a shift in cabinet power? |
Date | 14:11:54, April 16, 2010 CET | From | Communist Party of Darnussia | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of December 2923 |
Message | In the short run. For this term MAXIMUM. we will not give up our goal of state education, we will just pospone it in order to get this cabinet going. We will NOT back down and remove my party from government, just to please the nutty right. |
Date | 01:26:48, April 17, 2010 CET | From | Libertarian Party of Darnussia | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of December 2923 |
Message | After some thought, we don't want a coalition with the communists or the right wing parties. You're all a bunch morons who want to force your views onto other people. Why can't you just lep people be free. Let a person decide what HE wants to do with HIS life. And allow him to own HIS property without having to have to stolen by morons who just want it say they can enforce more of THEIR views on him. |
Date | 01:31:43, April 17, 2010 CET | From | Libertarian Party of Darnussia | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of December 2923 |
Message | I'm not arguing whether your beliefs are right or not, I am arguing against the fact that you would want to force people to be governed under your beliefs. First of all, people cannot be "governed" into being moral, so why the hell would you want to try this? It will only turn people more against your beliefs, because you are being hypocritical. No one can truthfully say "I want you to follow of these moral laws, because they are right, and I am good and do follow them". No one is good, everyone does things they know are wrong. Many people pretend that they follow their "moral codes" perfectly, but they are liars. It is in human beings nature to do things that are wrong, and every human has done so. |
