This bill aims to reduce the age requirement for compulsory education from 18 to 16, in accordance with the Elementary and Secondary Level System Act of 2694 filed in Parliament with the endorsement of then Education and Culture minister Jess Paul, which aimed at having students finish their basic elementary and secondary education by the age of 16 years old.
