Bill: Crossdressing Act 2926

Details

Submitted by[?]: New Aloria Party (NAP)

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 2927

Description[?]:

The People’s Party has problem with a gender dressing as another gender, it is a civil right, however we believe the government needs to stay out of this issue and not take any position on it. Even without the government taking a position on the issue, it will still be allowed.

MessageThe AFP supports neither the current legislation nor the proposed, but the latter is preferable. The act of crossdressing is generally a habit of those living eccentric lifestyles, and is usually indicative of mental depravity of some form. The government should not be seen to endorse behaviour that undermines society's basic standards of decency and civility. In any case, the AFP does not view this as an issue properly addressed by the federal government, much less an important one.
