Bill: Corporate Taxation Act of 2928
Details
Submitted by[?]: Libertad Movement
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: August 2929
Description[?]:
A nation's capacity to sustain itself successfully is reflected on how low the taxes imposed are. It is such a shock for our party to discover that the tax percentage burdened upon corporations would be at such high a degree. This for one could be considered as an abuse to the private sector, and in turn would give a wrong image of us abusing all the industries to gain lots of money without necessarily giving out services of equal value. Also, a high tax rate imposed upon corporations would scare away all plausible investors or businessmen who would love to establish small business or multi-national corporations for that matter. Given a low taxation rate, business would surely boom, and our economy could prove to be much more successful and stable. More businesses would equate to more opportunities and therefore more jobs. This is but just one step towards a freer market! |
