Bill: Citizenship Act of 2928

Details

Submitted by[?]: Libertad Movement

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 2929

Description[?]:

Useless members of the society, who for one, cannot identify and respect the basic laws, have no sense of social responsibility, and has no morality whatsoever, are not expected to be considered as and treated citizens of the Second Republic, and should therefore not expect any aid coming from the Second Republic. Establishing a Citizenship Exam for one would give the Republic a chance to separate those who are working hard, and being useful members to this society, be given a much more dignified and accepted identity than those who would rather lie down in bed, and do nothing, without even having the passion or commitment towards the motherland.

-- The Citizenship Exam is an exam free of any charges, to be held once a year, every year.
-- The Citizenship Exam, as our party proposes, should be exempted from any nationals under the age of 20, or those who are aged 60 and above. (automatically considered as citizens of Aldegar)
-- The Citizenship Exam shall be taken by nationals when they come to the ages of 20, 35, and 50, giving a 15 year citizenship grant per each examination.
-- Nationals deemed unable to take the exams due to disabilities or disorders shall be granted citizenship until full recovery. Given that their disabilities render them permanently impaired, they are to be granted permanent citizenship.
-- Nationals who fail the exam shall be given the chance to take it again and again and again and again, without limit. Letting shame be their limit.

Random fact: It usually takes up to an hour for election results to generate. During this time, the "Next Election" date is put forward a month, which is confusing. Do not worry! In a short time, the election result will generate and the "Next Election" date will then correct itself.

Random quote: "The one bonus of not lifting the ban on gays in the military is that the next time the government mandates a draft we can all declare homosexuality instead of running off to Canada." - Lorne Bloch
