Bill: Budget proposal of December 2928

Details

Submitted by[?]: Republican Party of Jakania

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 2929

Description[?]:

The Progress Party of Jakania propose to adjust the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the United Jakania.

We're making significant investments in science, environment, industry and especially education. Now that the current governing Coalition has decided to pass education reform, we need to fund our reform properly, resulting in a bump of 200 bn. We hope this budget gets bi-partisan support.

MessageMr. Speaker,

Typical empty talk by the Labour party, only in order to force partisanship on the people of Jakania. We're in desperate need of education reform, and we have delivered in this Coalition, and now the Labour party don't even want to compromise on funding this comprehensive reform. The head of government needs an increase because essentially its a department that hasn't been funded, leaving it crippled. The PM's work is substantial work, and the advisers and department officials are needed to operate this country far more efficiently.

Abraham Goldfarb,
Minister of Finance.
