Bill: Initial provisions concerning international trade

Details

Submitted by[?]: Utilitarian Party of Solentia

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 2933

Description[?]:

In an open economy system (already present in almost every nation of Majatra) the refusal of The Federal Republic of Solentia to eliminate all tariffs may be seen as an attempt to isolate us from the outer world. That clearly isn't the wish of the majority of our population. So taking into account the ruling ideology it is needed to take the first step towards showing our neighbors that the successful economy of Solentia is craving for a more active role in the global system.
We therefore propose to initiate free-trade and eliminate the remaining tariffs.
