Mr Speaker, with upcoming elections and the re-emergence of the Civil Democrat Party who are committed to the removal of the partisan Monarch and the ridiculous system which has made our nation a laughing stock. The fact that an elected representative can be out-voted by two appointees is ridiculous and Hutori is the only nation on Terra which employs this system shows how pathetic it is. This "National Council" is a completely inefficient way of running the nation especially when two-thirds of it is unelected.

Mr Speaker, whilst we can appreciate the work the Speaker of the House of Parliament does in ensuring the running of the house we find it incredible that this deserves a place within the "National Council". We also think that Henry I is a completely incompetent statesman and deserves no recognition in this nation. The fact that this man can have influence in a supposedly democratic society is beyond belief.

To conclude, Mr Speaker, this Act will restore this country to a respectable position where we have all state representatives elected and not holding office on hereditry grounds or the fact they are the Speaker, who has enough work without being in the "National Council". If all parties in Hutori are committed to democracy then i see no reason why they will not support the Act!

Random fact: Cabinet ministers who disagree seriously with the head of government would usually be expected to resign. Parties within the cabinet may attempt to manoeuvre to replace the head of government though, for example by proposing a new cabinet bill or voting for an early election.
