Message | This is not the way God intended it. If a man or woman is in a coma a doctor has to decide whether to kill him/her or not, you think this is the right thing to do? Pretty sick if you ask me. |
Date | 18:27:38, November 06, 2005 CET | From | Fair Capitalism Party | To | Debating the Euthanasia is murder! |
Message | Read the previous law before repealing it. If the patient is in a coma, there cannot be consent (unless given beforehand) and therefuore no euthanasia. And besides, when in a coma theya ren't suffereing, unless it's very light. And your statement "Euthanasia is murder" is incorrect - it could be murder if this bill passes, but is not at the current time in Aloria. |

Message | Aloria is not a Christian state. We aim to protect the beliefs of all religions and, as such, we will not permit beliefs to be foisted upon our citizens. |

Message | I am a Jewish Quaker, but you do not see me using my religion as a reason that we should pass legislation. |
Date | 02:01:05, November 07, 2005 CET | From | Libertarian Capitalist Party | To | Debating the Euthanasia is murder! |
Message | And I'm a theist with no belief in organized religion - I still don't see why euthanasia is murder. Against this bill. |
Date | 14:01:36, November 07, 2005 CET | From | People's Equality Party | To | Debating the Euthanasia is murder! |
Message | Religion should not come into it, as the representative from the Freedom Party states you can be religious but should not let that effect your political decisions. If a person is in pain they should be able to end their suffering rather than have to spend years hating their life. |
Date | 18:17:53, November 07, 2005 CET | From | Fair Capitalism Party | To | Debating the Euthanasia is murder! |
Message | No. Murder is an illegal act of killing. It is not currently illegal so therefore it is not murder. |

When all is orderly, he does not forget that disorder may come. Thus his person is not endangered, and his States and all their clans are preserved." - Confucius |
