Bill: Presidential Rating System

Details

Submitted by[?]: New Aloria Party (NAP)

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 2935

Description[?]:

Presidential Rate System.
The People’s Party is proposing a system of grades from the other parties be submitted a year before each election (not including early elections) of how the current President is doing. This will be available to the public and other parties by posting on the Nation’s message board in forms of statements from the political parties to the Alorian Broadcast Network or in different from (MUST BE ON NATION’S MESSAGE BOARD). The messages should be posted at least one year before an election. That gives the President three years to be graded on.
Grading Scale: 1-10
10, 9, 8: A
7 or 6: B
5 or 4: C
3 or 2: D
1 or 0: F

Each party will grade on different issues. Their will be a list of suggested issues to grade on, and parties can add anything else to grade on as well. When grading they MUST give a number. The numbers for each issue from all the parties will be added up and used as an average score for that issue. The current party that hold’s Head of State may not grade for it would be unfair. (THIS SYSTEM WILL BE NON-MANADTORY BUT HIGHILY ENCOURAGED! If the party decides they can not grade on a certian issue they may put "N/A"
Issues:

Civil Rights: This would include all laws relating to civil rights including anything about Gays, Abortions etc.

Economic: How the President handle the economy did his budget, income taxes hurt it do good, hurt the poor etc.

Foreign: Any treaties the president tried to get ratified or did, including foreign policy laws, and military laws.

You may grade on other things. This is all voultnary.

MessageI honestly wouldent support this because just like the old GPA's presidential adress bill, I feel that unless a party wants too, thy shouldent have too. Take out it being mandatory and I will vote yes

MessageThere's no way to properly enforce mandatory RP rules, unless you boycott ALL bills put out by said party... but that well most likely screw over yourself.

Messagedoes it really matter when you grade just so long as the presisdent had enough time in office to be judged, grade just before election is no biggy

Random quote: "If democracy is ever to be threatened, it will not be by revolutionary groups burning government offices and occupying the broadcasting and newspaper offices of the world. It will come from disenchantment, cynicism and despair caused by the realization that the New World Order means we are all to be managed and not represented." - Tony Benn
