MessageIn light of the private media's abysmal coverage of the recent terror attacks, we urge the Congress to pass a bill creating a National Public Radio station. This station will be less beholden to market whims, and will therefore be able to provide adequate coverage to important events that don't involve gyrating, scantily clad, nubile teenagers.

Let us be clear: we've no opposition to gyrating, scantily clad, nubile teenagers. But there is a time and a place for real news too.

Random fact: Don't put "the" as the first word in your party name, because when parties are referred to in news reports, their names are preceded with "the", e.g. the [Socialist Party] has lost.
