Message | Mr Speaker, the oppotunistic CLP simply propose this out of pure desperation! It makes us laugh knowing how the Labour Party is more similar in stances and views to those of the Hutori National Party. In a government with the HNP, the Labour Party could have their aims for a more socialist democracy where everyone is equal. They would be foolish to side with the CLP given their views on the issues where the Labour Party want to change for the better! |

Message | Mr Speaker, we admit that this deal is partly out of desperation. We are desperate that racism does not sweep across Hutori. We are desperate that civil liberties do not get infringed. We are desperate that fascism does not lead to the politics of hatred and the politics of division. That is why this Cabinet is the answer to Hutori's problems. The Labour Party and CLP have worked in coalition before, and had a deep and productive working relationship. Our views on the economy do differ markedly, but we agree that racism and fascism have no place in Hutori. Any government involving the HNP would be a recognition of that politics of hate. |

Message | Mr Speaker, a typical fear-mongering response from the CLP there. Yet they openly admit to having very different views on nearly all-aspects of the political system and they want to govern together? If the CLP and Labour Party members were to look at the comparative voting chart on the nations page then we would see that the Labour Party is much more similar to ourselves in the Hutori National Party. |

Message | Mr Speaker, we openly admitted only to having very different views on the economy. Mr Speaker, yes, on the voting chart, the Labour Party and the HNP do indeed vote similarly on many votes. But, they almost always vote differently when it comes to civil rights and morality, which happen to be amongst the most important issues when it comes to directly affecting the lives of the people of this country. Because the Labour Party and the CLP are united on these issues, and regard them as extremely important, a CLP-Labour coalition is extremely legitimate and necessary. As for scare-mongering, Mr Speaker, the people need only look at the HNP's record, and the policies they favour. |
