Bill: Public Saftey Act 2939
Details
Submitted by[?]: New Aloria Party (NAP)
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 2940
Description[?]:
We respectfully ask that Federal Congress members please support and pass this bill. Without this law in tact protests may turn into riots, muggings and innocent people may die. If law enforcement starts to see that the crowd is going to cause public safety risk, than they will be allowed to disperse the crowd PEACEFULLY not using riot gear, rubber bullets etc. We do not believe in that, that would just cause a riot. We believe it is important that the people have their voice heard but not if they are going to start a riot. Innocent people, children, elders may be killed. Are we going to risk the life’s of people so they can just stay out their and never have to leave? Thank you, People’s Party |

Message | No problem, and I should have clarified the change of policy at the start. We believe that the proposed law could be abused for unjust reasons, and therefore be a huge freedom violation. However, there are such laws in effect that would allow the police to disperse a group if it were to be acting violent (such as pulling out a gun, abusing other civilians, etc). |
