Honored Zardic Heroes Commemoration Act:

Introduction Explanation:
This Resolution would set up a recognized list which commemorates a select series of Zardic officials to honor their integral works over the years.

Section I: Directorate Findings

Article 1) The Directorate finds that there is a multitude of Zardic public servants from the past that are currently un-recognized for their great works.

Article 2) The Directorate finds that in order to appropriately and fairly recognize these esteemed individuals there must be a government sponsored list.

Article 3) The Directorate finds that through professional debate and discussion, members of the Directorate may establish a fair and reasonable list which applies to all heroic proponents of the Federal Republic.

Section II: Application Process

Article 1) Any member of the Directorate may request that an important Zardic individual be placed upon the commemoration list.

Article 2) Any candidate proposed for placement on the commemoration list should be supported with information regarding the individual's life and achievements.

Article 3) Following the proposal of a candidate, debate shall ensue in which all voices will be heard in regard to the approval of the named individual.

Section III: Confirmation

Article 1) After the process of application and debate, the Directorate shall hold a vote to either confirm or reject the proposed candidate.

Article 2) A candidate must receive a 2/3 majority of the Directorate's vote in order to be confirmed and placed on the commemorative list.

Section IV: List Revision

Article 1) In the case of a situation in which a confirmed candidate has been placed on the commemorative list and the application process has been completed, a Director may request that this individual be removed from the respective list.

Article 2) A member of the Directorate that requests the removal of an individual must provide facts and findings behind his or her intentions to remove the individual from the list.

Article 3) Should the Directorate reach a 2/3 majority consensus for revision, the individual must be removed from the list.

Section V: Rules

Article 1) Only one candidate per bill may be proposed at a time in order to allow more debate per individual. Resolutions should remain in debate long enough to satisfy any parties queries or concerns.

Article 2) This Resolution requires a simple majority of votes in the Directorate in order to pass.

Article 3) This Resolution will take effect when passed and will remain as binding law until the Resolution is overturned by a piece of legislation specifically designed to reverse its effect.
